Jack S. Hinson was admitted to the Bar in 1988 and been engaged in the practice of law for over 25 years. Jack received his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Martin where he also played on the UTM college golf team. After graduating from UTM, Jack attended the Nashville School of Law and received his Law Degree in 1986.

Jack has helped thousands of clients in the areas of Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Domestic Relations, Wills, Trusts, and Estates. His experience in Personal Injury and other Civil Litigation cases have resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in awards. Other than his work as a public defender, Jack has been a sole practitioner until October, 2014 when his son, Samuel W. Hinson, joined him in the now firm of Hinson and Hinson.

Samuel W. Hinson was born and raised in Lexington, Tennessee. He is the son of Jane and Jack Hinson. Sam received his degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin where he majored in Communications and Minored in Psycology. Sam, like his father, also played 4 years of college golf on the UTM golf team.

After graduating from UTM, Sam attended the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in Memphis, TN, where he graduated near the top of his class. Sam also competed in the National Mock Trial Competition while in Law School making it all the way to the top four schools in the United States.

Since being admitted to the Bar in 2014, Sam has practiced in General Sessions, Juvenile, Circuit, and Chancery courts all over West Tennessee. Sam’s practice areas include Civil Litigation, Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Domestic Relations, Wills, Trusts, Estates, collections, landlord-tenant, and Corporate law.
